- 5 tablespoons light brown sugar, plus
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1⁄3 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon hot water
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup flour
- 6 tablespoons butter
directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugars and butter add vanilla and eggs.
- place baking soda into the hot water and mix.
- then add baking soda mixture into the egg mixture.
- add salt into flour and then add the flour into the batter. Mix thoroughly.
- Add chocolate and butterscotch chips into mixture and mix.
- Roll 1 tablespoon of mixture into a ball and place on buttered baking pan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges turn golden brown.
