- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup butter flavor shortening
- 1 1⁄4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons orange peel (grated)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 cups quick oats (uncooked) or 3 cups old fashioned oats (uncooked)
- 1 2⁄3 cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels
directions
- preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease 15x10in jelly roll pan.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small mixer bown. Beat shortening, sugar, eggs and orange peel in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture and water. Stir in oats and morsels. Spread batter into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
