  1. I love this recipe. It is outstanding with balsamic vinegar!!

  2. Loved this, reminded me of the yummy cabbage my granny fed me in my youth! Even my pass on cabbage hubby raved on it. A touch of natural sea salt was a great finishing touch to the sweet buttery taste. Thanks for posting.

  3. I always braise my cabbage in butter - Love the sweet buttery flavor the cabbage takes on. Usually I do this with shredded cabbage, but will have to try the wedges. Also, I usually use just a little butter and some butter flavored cooking spray to help keep it healthier. My fiance, who isn't much of a cabbage fan, really liked this dish. Hmmm... I'm thinking cabbage is on the menu tonight! Thanks for reminding me of such a quick and simple way to serve cabbage!

  5. The simplest, and maybe most delicious way to eat cabbage - Thank you!

I live in Chattanooga with my daughter. I work at a used bookstore, and I love to read pretty much everything, especially cookbooks. Some of my favorite cookbooks are those of Nigel Slater, Barbara Kafka, Thomas Keller, and Nigella Lawson, plus the Moosewood series. I think perhaps my biggest pet peeve is food snobbery, and indeed snobbery in general. I love trying new things so much that I rarely make the same dish twice. Oh, a big thank you to all who have reviewed my stuff recently. I am currently without premium membership and unable to tell you so on an individual basis.
