  • Melt butter in pan.
  • Add onion and saute until translucent.
  • Add shredded turnip and cabbage and heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add soup stock and seasonings.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Simmer 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot, float a spponful of sour cream and a dash of paprika on top if desired.
