Cabbage Soup With Kielbasa

"This is an easy, delicious and comforting soup. You can use a can of sauerkraut, drained and well rinsed, in place of the cabbage if you wish. Also, get the broth mixture going and then add the sliced and diced veggies right into the pot as you prepare them. Pumpernickel bread is great with this."

  1. This was fabulous! I browned my kielbasa with the onion and minced garlic and then followed everything to a “t”. Very easy and very good!

  2. This was good and easy. Used the rest of the cabbage that I had for stuffed cabbage rolls. I used canned broth and used the whole can rather than just the 1 qt. and used the whole bottle of beer. It was great, husband said this recipe is a keeper.

  3. Delish...I did saute the onions and keilbasa with a little garlic first, then added the remaining ingredients. Good hearty soup. Will definitely be making this again. Thank you for sharing this recipe. :)

  4. Excellent! Pretty much a full meal in a soup. I used light smoked turkey sausage. After reading the recipe intro, I liked the idea of using sauerkraut, so I used both..... a 1/2 head of cabbage and a small can of sauerkraut. Thanx for sharing. I'll make this again.
