If you have noted this milkshake listed on our page as well as in the South Central Forum as being made and reviewed - you must wonder where your review is! Had major major connection problems from Saturday evening until last night and that review is just not showing. But yes I made and reviewed - and yes a five! I did have to use vanilla ice cream but as I had said - it had enough coffee flavor for me - loved it! Thank you susie.

I loved this! I used stracciatella ice cream as it was either that or strawberry, lol. I bought some vanilla ice cream for the next one i'm going to make because the only coffee ice cream they sell here is more like a sundae ice cream. I also used a bit less syrup as the liqueur was already really sweet. Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.

This is wonderful and so easy to make. Love the coffee liquor, the ice cream, what's not to like? It's sweet, it's rich..wow and the liquor! whew! I used Recipe #255067 for this and since I already drank too much coffee for tonight, I'll freeze the rest so that it gets so icy cold/granita like when I have them tomorrow. Thanks for sharing, susie cooks! Made for WZT4.

Reviewed for ZWT III. We drink gallons of fresh coffee in our house and DH only ever has it hot so I wanted to try this to see if I could 'convert' him. It worked! I used skimmed milk not whole and camp coffee syrup instead of the liqueur (we're tea total!) but it was very satisfying and I can't wait to make it again. It looks a little 'flat' in the photo as it had been stood ages whilst I changed the batteries in my camera!
