"This is a great combo of spices!! It can be used on just about anything!! (I made fake fries using this rub on potato planks!!)
But also great for poultry!"

ingredients
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried sage or 2 teaspoons thyme leaves
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
directions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Store leftovers in jar.

Great mixture, katie! Not too hot & full of flavor. I used half of it on Nan's Cajun Pork Chops (# 43045) & added some to the accompaning rice. I'm sure I'll find many uses for this rub/spice mixture as it has the bulk of our favorite flavors. Thanks for sharing! SS
