  1. Combine oil, sliced onion, garlic powder and 1 tablespoon black pepper in 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish.
  2. Add steaks to marinade, turning to coat.
  3. Spoon half of sliced onion evenly over steaks.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler.
  6. Remove steaks from marinade.
  7. Combine paprika, cayenne, salt, white pepper and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper in small bowl.
  8. Sprinkle each side of each steak with 1 teaspoon spice mixture.
  9. Grill or broil steaks until cooked through, about 8 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  10. Cut each steak in half.
  11. Divide steaks among plates; serve.
