  • Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. Alternately thread 3 pineapple cubes, 2 strawberries, and 2 cake cubes on each skewer. Place kabobs on waxed paper.
  • In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and margarine. Blend well. Drizzle chocolate mixture over kabobs. Refrigerate until set.

  1. I have been on zaar/food.com for quite a while now, and though I have found many great recipes, I have never had the reaction I did with these!! They were extremely simple (and fun! kids WANTED to help) to make, and were delicious. I made them for my in-laws' Memorial Day cookout, and it was literally 100 degrees out. I added bananas and froze them overnight so they would last the 2 hour trip there. They were perfect for a hot day!!! Not one (out of 60 ) left!!
     
  2. OUTSTANDING way to prepare AND present a dessert! I had to use canned pineapple, but will be making these again when I can get great fresh pineapples ~ For me that would make all the difference in the world! And, I'd like to try these using dark chocolate! Still, a great keeper of a recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in the lazyme cook-a-thon]
