  1. This is quite good and very easy recipe but for the coating, 3oz. of chocolate is not enough to coat all the cakes. I used about 14 oz. to coat them.

  2. These things are delicious. I like to mix and match the frosting cake and chocolate combinations to see which taste the best. These are also easy to fit whatever occasion. If its saint Patrick's day, use green chocolate. If its valentines day, make them heart shaped. There delicious

  3. Made these to include on the counter for a group I host occasionally, & they were a big hit! I actually made 2 batches, one as given in the recipe & using the dark chocolate coating, & the other one with a white cake, orange frosting (along with some orange zest) & the milk chocolate! Also provided a kind of gift/doggy bag so each person could take several of them home (along with a copy of the recipe)! Great fun to make, & definitely a joy to eat, especially for the chocoholic! 4. These are so cool! I made these with my Girl Scout Troop. The girls had fun and really scarfed down these little treats. I used milk chocolate for the dipping. It was nice to be able to use the microwave for this with all the girls around. After dipping, we sprinkled on some finely ground pecans. This was a great activity towards the Let's Get Cooking badge. Made and Reviewed for PRMR - Thanks! :)

I am the mother of two beautiful boys. I love to bake and cook which has helped me to become very overweight. I have lost 50 pounds this past year and have been learning to cook "lighter". We still enjoy many of the same dishes we used to. However, I have learned portion control and how to make suttle changes to my recipes that don't affect the flavor.
