  1. We have a bakery the makes the best croissants and they are big in size. I used them to make this sandwich and it turned out perfect. My husband and I loved the combination of ingredients. Very filling and our tummys were smiling. I used Sue L's guacamole recipe. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

  2. Wonderful! Made these for lunch/dinner for the BF and I to each take to work. I came home to a note: "Couldn't wait 'til dinner... this is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten!" Pretty good review if you ask me. I loved them too. The only thing I did differently was that instead of guacamole, I just cut up an avocado and put 1/4 of it on each sandwich. Oh, and I also used a tiny smidge of Olive Oil mayo since I didn't put guac on the croissant. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for a new summer-dinner- rotation favorite!

  3. I made this just as listed (except I left out the onion) and it was wonderful. I made two of these to take on a picnic for DH and me. This sandwich was so filling, we ended up splitting one and taking the other home for the next day.

  4. This sandwich is like one we make all the time except for the swiss cheese and red onion. The cheese and onion are a nice addition to an old favorite. Thanks Denise! Bullwinkle.
