  1. This might have been better if the vegetables had been drained and water or broth added.

  2. Very good! Very easy! Made exactly as recipe says and enjoyed every spoonful!

  3. I have made this receipt numerous time since I got it 6 months ago. I always keep these ingredients on hand just in case. Easy is an understatement. I have substituted the stew meat for venison, ham, meatball, and chicken. All are very good. I wish I could give 10 stars.

  5. Very easy is an understatement. I never thought about using canned veggies in the crockpot. I have made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe as written but we didn't care for not draining the veggies before adding to the mix. When the veggies weren't drained we thought it added a sweetness that we didn't care for. The second time I used two cans of carrots drained, two cans of potatoes drained and one can of corn drained. I also used a pound and a half of stew meat. I then added a can of beef broth, a lot of pepper, the onion soup and crushed tomatoes. We thought it was great then. Hubby also added old bay to his serving but that's just a personal preference. This is a great recipe to keep around because it was made with ingredients I always have on hand. Thanks for the great base recipe.
