"Great for parties and summer cookouts. Recipe from allrecipes.com. Haven't personally tried it, but others from that site who have raved about it....besides, it oozes with sweet brown sugar--it must be great!!!"

  • In a slow cooker, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, and horseradish; add the sausage and mix well.
  • Cook on High until the sauce starts to boil; reduce heat to low and cook until the sauce thickens, about 45-60 minutes.

  1. I used 1/2 of the amount of sugar, so I won't give any stars. Yum! A different sauce than I usually make for candied kielbassa.

  3. I make this every year for Christmas day (as part of our tradition of "finger foods only"). I must say, this is pretty tasty, especially served over sliced polenta. I use turkey kielbasa to lighten it up as well.
     
  4. Excellent! I used only 1/2 cup of brown sugar, added a couple of tablespoons of brown deli-style mustard and only cooked it until the sausage was hot, about 20 minutes. Yummy!
     
  5. I made this for my party to fill my husband's desire for some "manly" appetizers! It was a huge hit, even with the women!
