Candy Cane Drink

"This is a real winner, especially when the holidays just scream "peppermint" with all the candy canes and candy hanging around. Why not make a drink out of it? Plus, it's really pretty to look at, too. Nicely presented, this drink will be a true party pleaser. Give it a whirl and see what you think."

  1. Awesome! Lovely and strong, not too sweet.

  2. Tastes like a liquid candy cane, with a punch! This is a pretty strong drink. Perfect for winter holiday parties. It may be a bit too minty for some, so I think cutting down on the peppermint schnapps would let the calmer white chocolate flavor come through better. I, too, had a problem getting the grenadine to make stripes in the glass. Seems its not as thick as it once was. Thanx for posting!

  3. Hubby says a 4--he's tough, seldom gives 5, sorry, he's like the RUssian judge. HOwever, this is very good, we are enjoying it.......and will have again.

  4. I love it - perfect as one option for a holiday party. Comes out crisp and white! I, too, like that it is strong and not too candy-like. To weaken it, reduce to 1 ounce and let the white chocolate take over a little. Also, can let it sit on ice a bit longer to dilute. I like mine strong, but for others... Really fun. Thanks so much for posting!

  5. This is similar to a Peppermint Patty cocktail which I enjoyed recently. However, the addition of vodka made it less candy-like and just a little too strong for my taste. It's a very cute idea; thanks for posting!
