1. Yeh they do need to be baked at 300 for about 20 minutes for me. They tasted nice and pepperminty. I dont really care to much for these type of cookies but these were the best of them that I have had. My son liked them too!

 2. Very good and a great way (and fun way) to use up candy canes. I used 4 to make the 1/4 cup. Thanks for sharing!

 3. This is a good recipe, but after 30 minutes, mine were still sticky soft in the center. I had to cook mine longer, but I sure do like them. I also increased the peppermints to 1/2 cup based on a recipe using only 2 egg whites.

 4. These were very easy to whip up. I added just a pinch of cream of tartar to make sure the stabilized. They looked very pretty with some extra crushed candy canes sprinkled on top. The kis absolutely loved them and enjoyed helping to drop them on the cookie sheets. Thanx for sharing.

 5. The temp should be 300 degrees, 400 is way to hot. I am not sure if I prepared my batter correct but these didn't turn out to well for me, I even shortened the cook time and could not get these right.

Back then the original owners Troy and Gay ran the site and they had a lot of interaction with the members. I miss them.

Through the years it still remains to this day my favorite go to site and the one that I send all of my friends and family to when they need anything.
8724616"
