ingredients
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 1⁄2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup mini chocolate chip
- waffle bowls or waffle cone
directions
- Mix all ingredients together except for waffle bowls or cones.
- Chill.
- To serve - break waffle bowls or cones into chip size pieces. Dip into cannoli dip and enjoy!

Why is it gritty? What am I missing? I'm going to try again but want to figure our what is wrong first. The Ricotta was gritty not creamy and it was Frigo part skim. Do I need to use whole milk Ricotta?

We had this at a party recently... It was served with bone-shaped Graham crackers (scooby doo themed) and was called "scooby snacks"<br/><br/>Delicious! -
Mine came out liquidy and gritty. Maybe try whole Ricotta instead of part skim. Added orange zest and that was good.

Loved this.. I also tried it substituting mascarpone (8oz) for the cream cheese and a little sprinkle of cinnamon.. it's a creamier version.. so good!
