ingredients
- 1 (3 lb) trout or (3 lb) whitefish
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 3⁄4 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons red hot sauce
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground pepper
directions
- Place fish in a greased shallow baking dish.
- Brown onion lightly in fat.
- Add catsup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, lemon juice, red hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minute.
- Pour over fish.
- Bake at 425* for 30 min or until fish is tender.
- Serve on warm platter, garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
