  1. Core and dice apples.
  2. Add pineapple (including juices) to apples.
  3. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over top of apple mixture and stir together.
  4. Add marshmallows and pecans (or raisins/peanuts, etc -- ).
  5. Stir in cool whip.
  6. Refrigerate until cool.
