  • Put two paper bags together (one inside the other).
  • Pour the entire box of Chex into the bag(s) and set aside.
  • Melt the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan on med-high heat until boiling, stir constantly.
  • Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture on top of the Chex in the bag, roll down the top of the bag and shake well.
  • Put the bag into the microwave for 20 seconds, remove and shake.
  • Repeat step #6 four times.
  • Spread the Chex onto a cookie sheet (works best on one with edges), lightly sprayed with butter-flavored Pam.
  • Stir frequently as it cools, so it doesn't harden into one big clump.
