  • Bring brown sugar, margarine, and milk to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Cool for 30 minutes.
  • Add confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.
  • Spread on cake.
  • This makes enough frosting for a large cake.

  1. This is great. However, it does make a lot. Also, it does not "set" thick. This was used at our Cooking Club and everyone loved it.

  3. YAY!! this icing was like the most flavourful i have ever tasted!! AND it was so easy! I only needed about a cup of icing though so i halved the recipe and it turned out awesome! the texture was perfect and it spread fairly well also. thanks a bunch!
     
  4. This is a VERY caramel frosting. My DH loves caramel and it was almost too much for him!
