  • In a saucepan, mix together the flour and sugar until well blended.
  • Chop the butter into small pieces.
  • Add a little of the milk to the flour and sugar and mix well until smooth and then add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Stir over a medium heat and when mixture starts to thicken, remove from heat and beat well with electric mixer.
  • Mixture will thicken more when cool.
