Ingredients Nutrition

  • 14 cup margarine
  • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Canadian bacon
  • 4 large plain croissants, halved lengthwise or 4 large bagels, split and toasted
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, cut in 1/8 inch wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt margarine in a skillet, cook onion over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until onion is golden brown.
  3. Remove onion and set aside.
  4. In same skillet, heat bacon, turning once.
  5. On baking sheet, arrange 2 croissant halves.
  6. Evenly top with bacon, then onions, then cheese.
  7. Bake 2 minutes or until cheese is slightly melted.
  8. Top with remaining croissant halves and serve hot.
