  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Add buttermilk with soda and flour.
  4. Add caraway seeds.
  5. Chill for a few hours.
  6. Roll out to ½-inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter.
  7. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 20 minutes in a preheated 350º oven.
