  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the pecans and sugar and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Drizzle the caramel mixture over the brownie batter and bake until a toothpick can be inserted and withdrawn cleanly, 25-30 minutes.
