  • Preheat panini grill to high.
  • In a bowl, combine the tuna, green onions, celery, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper; taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Brush one side of each bread slice with butter.
  • Place two slices on a work surface, buttered side down, and evenly layer with tuna mixture and cheese.
  • Cover with top halves, buttered side up, and press gently to pack.
  • Place sandwiches in grill, close the top plate so that it barely touches the sandwiches and cook until golden brown, 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
