  1. Hiya Star I made your recipe last night i only made 2 changes not major lol I used homemade stock, less sodium and a few drops of tabasco. Well it was a hit. There was just enough left for me to have a very small bowl today with lunch. Thanks so much a great easy soup, when you donèt want something to heavy. Tc Dancer^

  2. i made a few adjustments to this recipe as well, i added spinach, lima beans, corn, celery, i didn't put any broths, butter, or wine (i'm under age!) and i also added some celery salt, garlic, and peppercorns. i guess i didn't really even make this recipe but it was a great base recipe. Very simple.

  3. Hello Starlitarita; Made this soup this morning and found I had to make several additions to it. The basic consistency was excellent, but it was very bland. This is what I added and I hope that you do not mind: 1 large potato, peeled and cubed 1/4 inch. 4 Tbsp. chicken soup base 1 tsp. seasoning salt 3/4 tsp. dried cumin 1 tsp. chili powder 3 Tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. white pepper 3 tsp. curry powder, optional 1 tsp. Sambal Oelek (hot pepper sauce), optional I also increased the wine to 1 cup. The soup is now to my liking and has an excellent taste. I asked my neighbor to come over and be the critic. Well, he wanted to take the rest of the pot home with him. By the way, I am a recipe developer and a connoisseur of soups. Thank you for your recipe, now maybe you would like to try these changes and see what you think. I am looking forward to trying some of your other recipes. "Uncle Bill"
