  • Peel carrots and grate, using the large grater holes, over a medium bowl.
  • Slice green onions and add to bowl.
  • Add lemon juice, raisins, olive oil, cumin, and salt.
  • Mix well.

  3. This was wonderful my favourite thing to eat at a salad bar but I never could make it .Did not have golden raisins so I used Thompson
     
  4. Made as written for the Turkish Corbasi, Salatalar & Sandvic Challenge of CQ #4. This was an easy-fix that I made early in the day & chilled so the flavors could develop well. My DH esp liked this for its low-salt content & the absence of mayonnaise often abundantly present in carrot salads. I appreciate both varieties, so this was an all-around success for us. Thanks for sharing this recipe w/us.
