- 2 bunches carrots, boiled till slightly tender
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs
- salt
- red pepper flakes
- 1⁄4 onion, finely diced
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup fine breadcrumbs
directions
- Grate carrots into a mixing bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Beat until eggs are blended. Pour mixture into a buttered casserole and bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Spread bread crumbs evenly over the top and add pats of butter. Bake and additional 10 minutes.
