Carrot Soup

ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 lb carrot
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
- salt
- 1 cup half-and-half
directions
- In 3L saucepan, cook onion in butter 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
- Add carrots,broth and dill; cook over medium heat 15-28 minutes or until carrots are very tender.
- Put carrots, broth, dill and salt into blender container. Cover and process until smooth. Return mixture to saucepan; stir in half and half. Gently heat; do not let soup boil. makes 4 servings.,.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
