"This is a recipe that reminds me of the yummy salad they serve at Sweetwater Tavern. The amounts for the last 4 ingredients can be to your liking."

  1. I always order their salads, too! I made this for a dinner party and it got lots of compliments. I My second batch was for my family and my daughter particularly enjoyed this dressing! I did add a 3 cloves of garlic and 2 tbs. sugar (since I prefer a sweeter dressing) and was very satisfied with the result. This is good with feta, too. I will make this often! 2. I just made this again last night with ALL of the correct ingredients this time. Previously I thought this was good and deserved 5 stars, but now I think it's worth at least 10!!!! Reminds me of a dressing at a fusion-style restaraunt I used to work at. SO GOOD!!!! Thanks! This was really good. Unfortunately I couldn't find champagne vinegar so I used white wine vinegar instead. It was still really good, but can't wait to try it again with the correct ingredients.

My husband and I moved to a small town in Wyoming to help care for my aging grandmother. Unfortunately she has passed, but we are eager to carry on her tradition of excellent food. The short time we were able to spend with her, she taught me a few new recipes and FINALLY got me into the habit of preparing homecooked meals each evening. It's quite addicting!
