Bread Machine Cheesy Bread

My mom used to buy cheese bread from Eaton’s Department store in Montreal this is exactly the same, the smell and taste when toasted is amazing. Thank you Maclaren’s Imperial cheese. Will definitely make again.

It was good, but not special. I doubled the cheese, but still did not get the punch I wanted. Will try again with a sharper cheese.

Today I made my first loaf of bread in my bread maker and this recipe looked pretty easy. The bread turned out wonderful! I used sharp cheddar and a couple of teaspoons of jarred chopped garlic. Beautiful texture, soft inside and a nice crust. Who knew making bread that tastes this good would be so easy! Thanks for posting this recipe.

I just had a piece of toast using this bread. I love it; the texture, the taste, even the smell of the bread as it was in the toaster was nice. I used about a cup of shredded old cheddar, half whole wheat flour and half unbleached, and 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. skim milk. I will be making this again.

This was very easy to make, although it did not have the "cheese" flavor I was hoping for. I will add a little more cheese next time and see if that helps, but I WILL be making this again as it is such an ease to do. Thank you. :)
