  • Place potato strips in greased 13x9 baking pan.
  • Pour the milk over potatoes.
  • Dot with butter.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and bake at 400° for 30 minutes, until tender.
  • Sprinkle with cheese, parsley and paprika.
  • Bake, uncovered for 6 more minutes, until cheese is melted.

  1. These were tasty and pretty easy. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to peel the potatoes, so I left the peels on and they were fine. These did not turn out as flavorful as I thought they would, but I used mild cheddar cheese. I think with extra sharp cheddar, these would be a bit more exciting, so I am going to try that next time. Thanks for sharing. P.S. I used skim milk and it worked fine.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
