  1. Unfortunately, these didn't turn out as great as I was hoping. They were super cute, but the taste was lacking and my kids refused to eat them (which is a big shocker in my house!). If I were to attempt again I would suggest making regular rice crispy bars and tinting them green and using the spice drops as decoration.

  2. Helped my grandson make these. So fun and tasty too!! Thank You!!

  3. great stuff. My kids loved decorating them. I used mini candy-covered chocolates (mini M&M's/smarties) instead of gumdrops, they stuck wel! And a star-shaped chocolate on top of each one. I found that using hands dipped in cold water worked well for shaping, and less messy than butter. I first did a rough shape, then re-shaped them a little once they had cooled slightly, which worked well. THanks for a brillant, easy, kid-pleaser recipe!

  4. You guys must all be pretty talented to get those Christmas trees to keep shape! My kids had fun making them, but they were pretty misshapen trees! :) I might try Rice Krispies to see if it's easier to work with. Very easy to make besides my inability to form trees very well.

  5. This recipe is so cute! I made this and printed out the directions for our ladies Christmas in July craft show and they were a big hit! Everyone loved them! Thanks so much for this idea!
