  1. Very simple and fun for my kids! To add chocolate chips so they would not melt, I had the kids press the mixture into the pan and let it set a minute. I let them sprinkle a few chips on top of the cereal and press them in with the back of a sprayed spatula.

  2. This is the recipe I use except that I often stir one-third cup of peanut butter (crunchy is best) into the melted marshmallows before adding the Cheerios (I use multi-grain Cheerios). So much more flavor---and healthier---than the old rice cereal treats!

  3. Good recipe but i don't see the pan size.

  4. These were really good! I prefer regular Rice Krispies, but this was a good way to use up some extra Cheerios I had. I used multi-grain, and the whole family loved them!

  5. Very nice, I made these for a work treat day using Honey Nut Cheerios and they turned out very well. I was a little worried that the cereal pieces would be tough and hard to eat as a large bar, but they softened beautifully with the marshmallows. Thanks!
