Cheese & Butter Green Peas

"Have kids who hate green peas? Well, everyone seems to have that problem! I randomly added cheese & butter to my green peas (despite being a lover of peas) and it tasted great! In fact, at the end of the day, I got more sick of the cheese than peas. Amount of cheese? One slice. (: This is even for the health-conscious...enjoy! For me, I can polish off the whole thing, but to be on the safe side serve this for two. (: You can do this for just about any vegetable, in particular non-leafy ones like carrots & peas."

directions

  • Boil water, not too much. ~ 1 cup.
  • When the water boils, add the peas and wait for it to boil again.
  • Once it boils, remove the water as fast as you can (you can just transfer it to another bowl, but that will make the peas cool faster).
  • Place the slice of cheese on top and wait for it to melt, characterized by it molding into the shape of the peas.
  • Meanwhile just add butter randomly, to taste. Butter melts even at room temperature so don't be hasty and add it before the cheese since cheese is harder to melt.
  • Simply mix the whole mixture - your cheese won't chunk up, don't worry!
  • Voila! Serve while still hot!
