"I have not tried this yet. Serve with crackers or crstini . Recipe didn't give cook time so I am guessing at it."

  • White Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 cup milk
  • Pudding

  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 egg yolks, well beaten
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 1-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • For white sauce, cook flour in butter until bubbly. Add milk. Stir over low heat until thickened.
  • Add cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat. Add egg yolks. Fold in egg whites. Stir lightly. Turn into prepared dish. Bake until just browned.
