- 3 loaves bread, inexpensive and soft
- 1⁄2 lb butter, room-temperature
- 1⁄2 lb margarine, room-temperature
- 3⁄4 lb cheddar cheese, grated
directions
- Remove all crusts.
- Roll the bread until very thin.
- Blend cheese with butter and margarine **room temperature**.
- Spread the mixture onto the bread.
- Roll diagonally.
- Bake at 325* - 350* until lightly brown.
- Approx times: 5 - 10 minutes.
