  1. This was not a winner for me. I only was able to use half the filling, and I still couldn't properly fill and fold the pockets. I ended up using one biscuit on the bottom and another on top, pressing them together. It amazes me that the photos are so perfect. Maybe I'm just an idiot. The flavor was pretty good. What would have fixed the problem? Two cans of biscuits. I would have enjoyed the sesame seeds, but I didn't want any more fuss after I finished fighting with the pockets.

  2. These were like yummy homemade hot pockets! :) I lightened it up by using ground turkey and lowfat cheese. I also had tons of meat leftover, so next time might just use 1/2 lb. My one year old couldn't get enough! Thanks for sharing!

  3. My 6 year old loved this recipe! It's so easy to adapt too. I followed the recipe though on mine, I put some giarndiniera and a dollop of wasabi. Very easy, very tasty!

  4. I loved them. One of my pickey boys did not though. He does not know what he is missing. Will make again. very easy to make and yum-o!

  5. These were a hit, easy and they really had a great flavor. I did use 2 cans of Schnucks jumbo biscuits. I flattened one and then put in the fillings, then flattened another and covered it with that sealing the edges, they looked like a flaky cheeseburger ! I liked the round look of them also that way ! Other than that made it exactly as written. Thankyou mtmissy for a delish and easy recipe !

  1. YUMMY! I made these for a church potluck and everyone loved them! I used dried onion instead of fresh, regular cheddar cheese, and dill relish instead of the pickle slices. I didn't use the egg or sesame seeds, although hat would have been awesome! These were SO good! My 2 year old gobbled one up when we got home, too! :) THANKS for the recipe!
