Cheeseburger Quiche

"All of the other recipes here for Cheeseburger Quiche were low-carb, crustless versions, which was not what I was after, since I had a pie crust to use. After some googling, I found a few recipes which I combined to make this one. Serve with your favorite burger toppings if desired!"

Questions & Replies

  1. Would I be able to prep this a few hours ahead of time and keep it in the fridge until I’m ready to bake it? Soccer practice runs late, and I won’t have time to do everything after soccer.

  1. I use Bisquick. Same results. You can also add a few extra fillings if you wish to give it more texture. I have added olives, green and red bell peppers, peas and carrots, hash browns etc.<br/>All good.

  2. I have made this quiche two different times and it is very easy. Make sure you use sharp cheddar cheese because it really improves the taste. The second time I made it, I used medium cheddar and it was not as delicious as the first time.

  3. Delicious! Even my very picky teenager ate it (which says a lot!) I didn't change a thing -- it was delicious just as it was. And I had a piece for breakfast the next 3 days with the leftovers. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely be making this one again!

  4. If you know In-n-Out burger joint, this is an In-n-Out Animal Style pie. I used a whole onion, not just a measly 1/3 cup. I forgot the cheese on top and still it was YUMMY!!!!

  5. Added the basic NO trinity: onions, bells (whatever color you have I used red, green & yellow) celery plus some garlic powder. Pre baked pie shell 10 min. AWESOME. My daughter, who is a 95 lb 17 yr old ate the whole large slice! Two thumbs up!!

I have a degree in archaeology from a small Ohio college and I work for the Ohio History Connection. My passions are art, music, books, food, history, and cats/animal welfare. I also love photography. I have a 1,000 (plus) piece collection of vintage flower pins from the 1960's, hence the username ha. I also have small collections of vintage butterfly pins, vintage tablecloths, and vintage glass Christmas ornaments. (Can you tell I love vintage?) I took a trip to the Netherlands in March 2006 and fell in love! I doubt it will happen but if I ever have the opportunity I would love to live there.
