“This recipe has been passed down through my family. Originally, it was made with homemade marinara sauce, but I just don't have time for that anymore. But if you do, then go for it!!”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 16 ounces ziti pasta, penne or 16 ounces any short cut pasta
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage
  • 8 ounces pepperoni slices, halved
  • 28 ounces of your favorite spaghetti sauce (my favorite for this is Ragu tomato mozzerella)
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 2 cups Italian cheese blend

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Bring a pan of water to a boil, add the Italian Sausage and cook 15 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board to cool.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a large pasta pot of water to a boil. Salt the water and add pasta, cooking per the directions on the box. Drain.
  4. Slice the sausage in half lengthwise and then again into half-moons.
  5. Pour the pasta into a 13x9 inch pan and top with the sauce. Add the sausage and pepperoni, stir to combine.
  6. Sprinkle with the Italian Seasoning and place into oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and meat is heated through.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on the top and place back into the oven for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
