Ingredients Nutrition

  • 453.59 g Italian bread or 453.59 g French bread
  • 59.16 ml butter, softened
  • 4.92 ml italian seasoning
  • 4.92 ml garlic powder
  • 354.88 ml mozzarella cheese or 354.88 ml pizza cheese or 354.88 ml Italian cheese blend, shredded

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375*.
  2. Cut bread at 1 inch intervals, but don't cut all the way through; just carefully cut down to the bottom crust and stop.
  3. Mix together butter, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  4. Separating gently, spread some of the butter mixture on both sides of each slice of bread.
  5. Stuff some cheese down in between slices, but try to do it evenly, not all stuffed down into the bottom or all at the top.
  6. Wrap loaf in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted all the way through.
