Cheesy Ham and Apricot Toasts

- 24 baguette, slices (1/4 inch slices)
- 2 tablespoons stone ground dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, dressing
- 1⁄8 teaspoon chipotle-flavored hot pepper sauce (optional)
- 5 ounces sliced black forest ham, torn into bite-size pieces
- 1⁄2 cup dried apricot, sliced
- 1 cup Canadian cheddar cheese, shredded (two year old)
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
directions
- Preheat broiler. Arrange baguette slices on a rimed baking sheet. Broil until lightly golden on both sides, about 1 minute per side. Cool to room temperature.
- Blend mustard and mayonnaise; add chipotle sauce if using. Spread a thin layer on one side of each baguette toast. Divde ham and apricots equally between toasts. Toss cheese with green onions and sprinkle evenly over all. Broil 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
