Cheesy Loaded Baked Potatoes

  • 5 -6 cubed red potatoes (enough to fill the pan completely-will vary)
  • 12 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) container of hiland French onion dip
  • 12 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 pieces bacon, pieces (already cooked soft and chewy with a little crunch)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Cube potatoes into 1 inches pieces and place in a 11X8 glass pan or baking pan.
  • Add the 1/2 cup water and 1 TBSP of Butter to prevent them from drying.
  • Cook on 325 degrees until they come apart with a fork. About 20-30 minutes. You want the potatoes to be a little brown and toasty. Drain any excess liquid off you can leave some if you wish for sauce to be thinner.
  • Add the 8oz tub of French Onion Dip and mix well. Add Bacon, Mozzarella, and Cheddar Cheese.
  • Put it back in the oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve Warm.

  1. The dish was VERY well received. I crisped the 5 strips of bacon, cut them in little bits, added 1/4 tsp ground pepper, and maybe as much salt. Very good.
