  • Boil unpeeled potatoes; set aside to cool.
  • Peel potatoes and grate with cheese grater.
  • Place grated potatoes in an oven-safe dish.
  • Add garlic salt to taste.
  • CHEESE SAUCE:

  • Over a low burner, melt butter; mix with flour and milk.
  • Slowly add cheese to thicken.
  • Pour cheese sauce into potatoes and fold in; add salt to taste.
  • Bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 1 hour until brown on top.
