Alfredo Scalloped Potatoes

"These scalloped potatoes are so good. I like to use "Recipe#111347" in place of the jar alfredo sauce. I saw the recipe in Woman's Day."

  1. I really loved how easy this was. Only one kid loved it. The other 2 did not care for it at all. And they are potato lovers. So I was shocked. I used Classico Alfredo sauce. I think I will try this with a homemade Alfredo sauce. I didn’t taste it.

  2. This recipe worked great! I also added extra spices, cheese and parmesan. I used cumin, garlic and chili powder instead of nutmeg and cayenne. Also agreed with previous comment to mix the spices in with the alfredo before pouring it on the potatoes.

  3. My Husband and I thought these potatoes were very good. I used 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese instead of 1 1/2 cups and I left out the nutmeg because we don't care for it. Thank you for the recipe.

  4. These were good, but were missing a little something. I think some garlic powder or onion powder might add a little more. Definitely use alfredo sauce you really like (the good stuff) because the potatoes will taste a lot like that sauce. Thanks for the posting.

  5. Easy recipe, we like cheese so I did 2 cups instead of 1.5.. Turned out very yummy thanks fro sharing this recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Very tasty: a great blend of flavours and pleasingly low-fat for such delicious potatoes! My guests both came back for seconds - and wanted the recipe. I used freshly ground black pepper instead of cayenne pepper (personal taste preference) but otherwise made them exactly to the recipe. So easy to prepare and forget, so an excellent recipe to serve when you have guests! Thank you for sharing another great recipe, Lainey! Made for Gimme 5.
