  1. My son made these wonderful cookies for Christmas, using maraschino cherries minus the stems. WOW! Everyone raved and asked for the recipe. Can't wait to make them myself, maybe for Valentine's Day. They are my new favorite cookie. Thank you so much for sharing, GG!

  2. The dough was a little hard to work with at first, but once I added a little it more flour and got into the swing of it they were easy. I found that these were better the second day than right after I made them.

  3. The first time I made these my 3 year old daughter helped me. The dough is so easy to use she was able to make as many as I did with no trouble. I didn't use stemmed cherries and I dipped them in melted chocolate instead of powdered sugar. Yummy. The second time I made them I soaked the cherries in cherry brandy overnight. I stuffed each cherry with a chocolate chip and rolled in powdered sugar after they cooled. Extremely yummy!! I'm going to make them for the adults for valentines day. The powdered sugar was much better than the chocolate coated, However, my husband said that just the cookie dough dipped in chocolate would have been fine with him. The cookie dough is really good on it's own,.
