Made this up for some neighbor children yesterday & almost forgot to review it! I pretty much followed the ingredients & recipe EXCEPT that for half the cookies I used maraschino cherry halves, while on the others I used smaller, whole cherries! No difference in taste, of course, but I enjoyed the 'bump' the whole cherry made! Closer to Samhain/Halloween I might even make these up with a white chocolate frosting, then pipe a dark chocolate on that to make the outline of an eye! Anyway, these are nice tasting cookies (I managed a handful for myself) & the kids devoured them right off! [Tagged, made & reviewed just for the halibut!]

I love food! I collect cookbooks and recipes and read them the way most people read novels. I have no children but I have two cats who also love to eat. I am also a movie buff and one of my biggest pet peeves is when people talk during a movie!
