  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine raisins, walnuts, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon. Place apples in baking dish. Fill the center with the fruit/nut mixture.
  3. Pour the soda over the apples. Dot each apple with 1/2 teaspoons butter. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon.
  4. Bake until apples are tender, about 45 minutes. Serve with sauce from the baking dish.
