  • Preheat oven to 350 degrease.
  • Spray a 9X13 baking dish.
  • Dump cherry and apple pie filling into dish. Spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of filling.
  • Pour melted margarine over top of cake mix.
  • Sprinkle pecans over top.
  • Bake at 350 degrease for 60 minutes.

  1. For the pie filling, can one use a juce pack pie filling or does it have to be one of those already thickened syrup type filling?

  1. I used one can of cherries and no apples. Instead of pecans I used small marshmallows, added on top at 50 minutes until partially melted then turn to broil to brown the marshmallows. I used a Pyrex glass pie dish. The result was a fabulous cherry crisp that was super delicious with vanilla ice cream.
