What a terrific drink to serve with our Christmas breakfast. I couldn't find cherry juice and wasn't near a Trader Joe's (whom I know has it), so I substituded cranberry juice. Since that is already tart, I decided to use the lemon-lime soda to add. It's just right with that. Thanks for the delicious drink!

I made this to go with breakfast this morning as we have Pre-Christmas house guests this week end. Everyone loved it with no exceptions and the kids loved getting a pretty "grown up" glass (even though their's were plastic!). I used the club soda and it was plenty sweet. The color is quite pretty and the citrus slices are the perfect addition. The ingredients all had a chill from the fridge but I didn't use any ice as it's so cold out and nobody seemed to miss it at this time of year. Everyone from the kids(8 and 10) to greatgramma (78) gave it 5 stars.

Twissis thank you for the great memories while sipping this drink! My grandfather would always order me a "Shirley Temple" when we went out to dinner and this reminded me of them. I used cherry cranberry juice and 7up. Let the cherry mixture refrigerate for a few hours and enjoyed a wonderful treat!
